BLACK Mix Lesotho’s Liquid Clinic launch early this week brought a fresh perspective to the local entertainment by maintaining a strictly cocktail party morning to late night experience for revelers at Maseru’s Black Swan B&B.
Black Mix Lesotho specialises in conceptualising and delivering complete tailor-made services in the areas of advertising, consultancy, training, implementation and project management and corporate events.
Their brand, Liquid Clinic is a beverage catering company offering unique bar services based on different consumer needs.
The Liquid Clinic brand has been operational for five months during which it has made its mark working with companies like Alliance Insurance, Land Administration Authority (LAA), Post Bank, First National Bank (FNB) and the Ultimate Radio.
After this week’s launch, the brand will now diversify to working with the public.
On a normal day, a variety of beers, ciders and whiskeys would be on sale, but on the launch the organisers went for a novel approach which was well received by the patrons.
Dubbed The Cocktail Experience, it was a strictly cocktail affair and the revellers were more than delighted to sample and savour the variety that was on offer instead of the usual alcoholic brands.
It was ultimately a mature laid back experience where connoisseurs were serenaded with classic Hip Hop and RnB tunes belted out by Lesotho’s finest DJs, Ebonix, Trybz, NINE24, Gama, Afro and Pablo.
Not surprisingly dancing was down to a minimum as the patrons preferred to just sing along to the popular tracks while enjoying their cocktails and puffing on tobacco from the hookahs (hubbly bubblies).
There were several sub-plots to spice the event and these included having revellers take pictures and post them on social media with the hashtags #LiquidClinc or #BlackMix for a chance to win bottle of wine.
Multichoice Lesotho and Vodacom Lesotho also graced the event with the latter giving away several Smart Kicka phones and other branded merchandise to customers who transacted via the telecommunications giant’s M-Pesa mobile money platform.
For their part, the DSTV and GoTV service providers gave away a brand new 32” plasma screen and a braai stand to a lucky customer who upgraded their subscription or paid through M-Pesa.
Multichoice Lesotho Marketing Manager, Refiloe Mohlotsane said they always sought innovative ways of motivating their customers to upgrade or pay through mobile money platforms.
“We target every event where there is a potential for high end customers to educate them about our new Explora, High Packages like Compact, Extra and Premium,” Mohlotsane said.
